Sintel (15-minute animated fantasy created by the Blender Foundation's Durian Open Movie Project) remastered in high-definition "Lib-Ray" format.
This is a PROTOTYPE of the Lib-Ray free/open fixed media format for high-definition video without DRM or other "anti-features". Since it is a prototype, it comes with no guarantees about stability or compatibility, but it is best viewed using Google's Chromium web browser in full-screen mode on a system with a 1920x1080 "full HD" screen. Some features do not yet work even on this configuration, however, as they require elements of HTML5 that are not yet implemented. More details are available from the Lib-Ray site: http://lib-ray.org.
Because it's a short movie, the ISO is relatively small (2.1 GB), and it will fit easily onto an inexpensive single-layer DVD-R disk.
The movie is "Sintel", created by the Blender Foundation and released under the Creative Commons Attribution-Only, v3.0 license (which is why we are free to use it).
A small amount of content on the disk is CC By-SA (Attribution-ShareAlike), so technically the disk as a whole is CC By-SA, though you could easily excise the two CC By-SA pages (the cast bios come from Wikipedia and are marked as such) to make it CC By. Everything else is from the Durian project and Sintel DVD, which are released under the CC By 3.0 and attributable to "Blender Foundation | www.blender.org". The name "Lib-Ray" and the Lib-Ray logo as used on the disk are claimed as trademarks of "Anansi Spaceworks' Lib-Ray Project | lib-ray.org" and should be used only to refer to Lib-Ray compliant disks and/or players.
